Tutoring

Compsci 101 and 201 are now offering up to 12 hours per student of free tutoring for students on a first-come first-serve basis. The tutor program is designed for students wanting more help with course concepts, assignments, and APTs. Students may request to meet with a tutor in small groups of 1-3 students, for up to two hours a week.

• Before requesting a tutor students should attend the instructor’s, and graduate and undergraduate teaching assistant’s office hours.

• Students must attend class regularly.

• Tutors will contact students to schedule a tutoring session.

• Tutoring sessions will be held in a public location on campus.

• Students who misuse the tutoring program (for example, not attending scheduled meetings) will not be allowed to continue with the program.

• Both students and tutors must fill out evaluation forms every two weeks.
