OOLALA Team Meeting
To prepare you for your first team project, work on the following exercises in your OOLALA teams:
- Introduce yourselves to each other by sharing:
- where you are from and how you are experiencing school this semester
- your motivation/interest in this course
- your knowledge/interest in using Turtle Graphics (in any way) or the assignment's different applications
- areas of the project you interested in or concerned about
- Discuss each person's team experiences and expectations
- share good and bad past team experiences and what you learned from them
- share preferences and styles regarding expectations, communication, and debating issues
- go over the Team Contract and what norms and tools you will use to communicate during the project
- choose a time for the next team meeting
- As a team, complete this exercise to get you thinking about planning program design
- Share your design ideas, plans, and goals for the project:
- clone the provided, shared team repository to your machine and
Open
the project in IntelliJ
- add the names and NetIDs of everyone present to the top of the
doc/DESIGN_PLAN.md
file before adding notes about your discussion
- discuss what part of the project each person wants to start on this week(end)
Submitting your Work
By the end of lab, individually submit the Team Contract Google form and present your initial project CRC Cards and Use Cases to a UTA.
