Final Project Progress Report
100 points, due noon, April 17, 2006

Introduction

Two weeks after presenting your proposal and working on the game design, you should be making good progress toward your project's completion. Your task now is to reevaluate your expected, actual, and predicted progress. Your report should indicate how well you are following your time line and mention any changes you have made from your proposal. Another primary purpose of this report is to propose the manner in which your project should be graded.

Requirements

Develop a web page, linked from your Project web page, that discusses:

Progress Made

In this part, describe in what you have completed to this point. This could include

Difficulties Encountered/Lesson Learned

Is this project more difficult than you anticipated? What have you learned so far that could help other members of the class?

Evaluating Your Progress Reporting on Your Progress

Be ready to give a very brief report in class on your project. If your web page is suitable, you can use that for the graphics of your presentation. If necessary, you may want to prepare some slides to make the job easier. (These should also be accesible from your web page.)

Demos of prototypes are good, but should be in applet form, executable from you web page. (It is not practical to load individual demos to the class console.)

Evaluating the Project

Your project is worth 400 points. The criteria by which your source code and web page documentation are given. Your job is to define clearly what parts of the functionality of your game fit into the bold subheadings in red. Create criteria by which the following should be evaluated.
