CPS108: Alexander Zupancich
My Name is Alex Zupancich, I'm (technically) a senior at Duke, but I have
taken two semesters of absence since 1995 and will therefore not be
graduating in May 1999 - instead I will finish the requirements for my CPS
major and M&M certificate sometime during the summer.
I'm an international student, a British citizen of Italian descent. I
presently live in Singapore when not at school and have lived in or visited
15 countries. My interests are diverse: from scuba diving to sky diving to
flying, computers to gemology to business... unfortunately they are limited
by the finances & time available to me while at school.
I have been playing with computers since age 13. I only started programming
as a freshman at Duke with CPS100. Since then I have used C++ in other CPS
courses, I have played with perl to make some custom CGI scripts at work,
and done some extensive development using MS Access (Vis.Basic for
applications, MS Access DAO)
I'm going to have a busy semester since I'm having to take CPS108 & 110 at
the same time, but have kept my schedule clear so I should be able to handle
the time commitments for both!
