clarification

I am not sure if it was clear, but my big problem is with the
hyphenation, not so much the apostrophes (but I would like some
resolution on that too). I imagine if you had something like

"home-boy"

you would want to be able to index "home" & "boy", but this would
disallow you to index "home-boy", at least by my code. And judging by
the text we have to prepare for (my reference to the poe.txt problem),
we would want to separate the elements so that settled-but is not
indexed.

Sorry for ranting and raving, but I just don;t know exactly how much we
have to do.....
