Re: (no subject) [happy99.exe]
Just browsing a bit on the subject of happy99.exe, and I noticed that
there is a site
(http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Heights/3652/SKA.HTM) with
instructions on how to clean your system if you have been infected.
Incidentally, the program listens on ports 25 (mail) and 119 (news)
waiting for the user to send something via these ports. If an email or
news posting is sent, it sends out a copy of itself to the same recipient.
Think about how many people you send email to in a day, and how many of
them would probably run a program that you sent to them without checking
if it was safe?
