Grading: Reviews (HotCRP)

Reviews will be due 12 hours before the beginning of each class. HotCRP records only one timestamps. If you make changes, this will update the timestamp of your entry. Reviews will be graded every two weeks and grades will be of the form:

Lacking (check-minus): Barely summarizes the paper or barely articulates the assumptions, strengths, weaknesses, and open questions.
Acceptable (check): Accurately summarizes the paper and articulates the assumptions, strengths, weaknesses, and open questions.
Thought-provoking (check-plus): Surprises me or makes me re-examine the paper.

Note:Lacking the submission of sufficient HotCRP reviews, I reserve the right to distribute Pop-Quizzes. These pop-quizzes will count doubly towards either the Review or class participation grade.
