Prerequisites
It is assumed that students are familiar with programming (any
language), basic algorithm analysis, and simple linear algebra, probability
theory and calculus.
Grading
Class grade will be based on:
- five written homework assignments (10%),
- two programming projects (15% each),
- an in-class midterm (30%), and
- a final exam (30%).
