For the extra credit assignment, I elected to compose and write a song and poem. 

The following song is a variation of “Rain Rain Go Away”, which is a nursery rhyme. 
The song below follows the same melody/tune as “Rain Rain Go Away.” 
This is in many ways both a song and a poem in that it has a melody and also rhymes. 

Red Red Go Away,
Come Again on Wednesday

I need to finish these APTs,
So you need to leave, please, please, please!

I only have til 12 o’clock,
Which means you need to take a walk

I have worked so hard to find the solution,
So green, you need to make a substitution!

Green, green come to me,
I would like to get a degree

If you don’t, I will get scared,
And that might make me unprepared

And then when the exam arrives,
I’ll be deprived

Of all of the information the green could have given me

So I beg you, please
I’ll even get on my knees

To change that red to green.
