Tatum Sornborger Ode to My Dear Green You may believe that Christmas Only happens once a year With strings of lights just hanging Bringing us some Christmas cheer Yet the feelings that this day brings Can be found in other places Duke computer science students Are solving all these cases Every week becomes a challenge When APTs appear online Please bring that fateful color And show us that we shine Christmas colors red and Green Are not only for the holidays Upon completing every set Just one color we pray displays Not blue, not red, not yellow, or white Makes me dance with pride My heart belongs to the color green I succeeded when I tried Those simple squares of color Make Christmas come way early Just bring me green dear Santa Clause Grant my wish, I pray, please hurry As the problem sets stop coming And we take the final test I will dream of green for months My love I have professed Goodbye eclipse. Goodbye my green. Its been a lot of fun I must go home and rest my brain Like this poem, I am finally good and done.
