Fingers ferociously pattering on the keyboard,
Stumped, deep in thought, looking for how and why.
A language unlike any other, unique in its own right,
Headaches, agitation, elation, repeat.

Green is the goal, red is the Achilles heel.
Code, code, code.
Invalid, undefined, unused. Devastation.
"I'll never understand this, there's no point"
Yet the gratification that comes with success overcomes you.

Office Hours, practice, more practice,
Slowly more green, less red.
This is too good to be true, what's going on?
But all it takes is one small error and 'poof', it's ruined.
