Gamification Exploration

In pairs, present your research about gamification during class:

You can either clone the repository and push your files or upload them through the website when you are ready.

Specifications

There are many aspects of games and gaming principles that people think can be used to improve learning, increase engagement, or help motivation — think critically about which can be most effectively adapted and which might easily lead to bad outcomes.

The following questions should be helpful in choosing and discussing your examples:

  1. How does gamification impact the design of educational technology?
  2. How can gamification be used to enhance the application of learning theories?
  3. How can gamification be used to help students for whom traditional educational methods are not effective?
  4. How can gamification be used to promote collaboration and teamwork (rather than direct competition)?

You may use any resource you want for your review, but you must site it in your presentation or README (as appropriate).
