We have many several visitors to the class scheduled who will each give a talk/perspective on some aspect of the material we cover in class. Often there's a Duke connection with the visitors.
All readings for the course are available via the Readings tab including several books that are available online for free, though you can purchase them as well.
Please check the Syllabus tab for due dates which include Assignments and readings. The syllabus also includes links to class notes and other information about in-class activities.

- December 12 Takehome final due
at 2:00 pm, same time in-class final starts
- December 12 Class final exam. Questions were
distributed before 12/5 on Blackboard from which at least 50% of the final
questions will be drawn.

be completed by November 24 for credit. After Thanksgiving gets
